ScanLines are great for Signatures, and create a great finalized effect. Scanlines are not only simple-but they're really cool! Here is a quick simple way to make scanlines of your own. Here's my Original Signature: Example OnePart 1: Create a Patterm 1)Create a New Image that 1 by 2 pixels. 2) Hit "D" to reset your Colors 3) Use the Pencil Tool, and Fill in the Bottom Square. It should look like this: 4) Now Save it as a Pattern, by going to >Edit>Define Patter Name your Pattern Scane Lines Part Two: Adding Scan Lines 1) Open up your Image that you want to add Scan Lines to. 2) Create a New Layer, Ctrl+Shift+N 3) Add Scan Lines: >Edit>Fill Choose Pattern in the Drop Down Box, and then Choose the ScanLines Pattern that you just made. And you're done! Here's what mine looks like: See the Difference? Example Two:Now we're going to make your own Scan Lines: 1) Open up a New Image, 2 by 2 2) Fill in the squares that you'd like . . . whatever you'd like is fine! You can Make Step 1 Bigger as well, to fit more complex scan lines. 3) >Edit>Define Pattern 4) Save your Scan Lines as ScanLinesMine And then Go to Step Two, Adding Scan Lines Above.
