In this tutorial, I will teach you how to make realistic rain effects in your graphics. We will go over non-animated Rain effects. Hope you enjoy the tut! 1)Open up the Image you wish to add Rain to. I’m using a Nature image so that the rain will seem more realistic. 2) Hit “D” to reset your Colors 3) Next, Create a New Layer, Ctrl+Shift+N, and Fill it with Black. 4) Now we are going to apply some noise. You can do this by going to: >Filter>Noise>Add Noise Your Settings should look like this: 5) Then apply some Motion Blur: >Fliter>Blur>Motion Blur Your Settings should look like this: 6) Change your Layer Mode to Screen And you’re done! Final Image: If you want you can add more noise-for more intense rain. Although my rain is subtle, you can change your’s to more intense looking rain. Try it yourself!
