It's been a while since there have been any updates here on the forum, but there are several updates to be discussed, so please bare with me here.
Update #1: Skin Requests
That's right, Insomnia Designs will now be accepting skin requests. The board to request a skin can be found as a sub-board under the Graphics Request board. It's currently closed until we get more designers on the forum, but the board is there. But before requesting a skin, please remember to read the requesting rules. Also, please make sure you use the requesting template when making your request so that your request is done to your specifications.
Update #2: Referral Points
Not quite sure what they are? I'll explain. When registering, there will be an extra field marked Referred by: where you can put the username of the member that referred you, if in fact you were referred to the forum by a member here. When submitted, the person who's username you entered in the Referred by: field will receive points for referring you. And, there is a link that shows the top 10 recruiters on the forum.
Update #3: Report Posts
Much like the Report to Admin link contained at the bottom of each post, we now have a Report Post feature. The link can be found at the bottom of each post. So, if you come across an inappropriate post, please click the Report Post link at the bottom of the post so that staff can review it and decide the appropriate action to take.
Update #4: Display Names
Members are no longer allowed to change their display names. So, if you want your display name changed, please PM me or another member of staff and we will gladly change it for you. But please, don't abuse this feature because we won't constantly change your display name. So, please choose a display name that you like. A mass PM will be sent out reminding you of this feature.
Update #5: Suggestions Board
Much like PB Support, we now have Accepted and Rejected suggestions boards. This will help us better organize the Suggestions board, and will also help members distinguish what suggestions have been accepted and which ones have been rejected. Make sure you check both boards to see what ideas have already been suggested and what ideas are being worked on.
Inactivity
I have decided to implement an inactivity rule. So, any members account that has not been logged into in 2 months or more will be deleted from the forum. I hate to do it, but I want this forum to be active again.
